Mr. Justice Marshall Rothstein was appointed to the Federal Court of Canada in 1992, 26 years after graduating from the University of Manitoba with a law degree. He was called to the bar within months of his graduation. From 1970 until he was named a judge, he worked at a Law fi rm in Winnipeg and taught law at the University of Manitoba. He specialized in transportation law. Justice Rothstein will be speaking on the workings of the Supreme Court !
